Why should you follow Fireside Notes?
During the summer I’m a dirt digging barefoot kind of gal. In the fall I become a harvesting food preserving seed collecting kind of gal.
I grew up on 5 acres just outside a small town in Central WI. The sounds, the smells, the soil. No matter where I live, stepping outside barefoot into nature is what keeps me grounded. Whether I’m foraging in the trails of the forest, rockhounding along the lake side, or working in my garden, nature is so calm and beautiful. But, on the other hand, I do love the wild storms Mother Nature sometimes tosses our way.
This blog is simply just me sharing life’s adventures with you. I hope you find some information helpful, but if not, I hope you enjoy reading about my general experiences in life.
